How to fix the blank box chat problem in GetButton Chat Widget
When setting up your GetButton Chat Button for the first time, your chat window may not appear correctly on your site. Please be noted that: you must enter your Facebook business page ID, not your personal Facebook account. There are a few possible reasons, and here is how to fix them quickly:
NOTE: After fixing the issue, you have to generate a new widget code and update it on your website!
1. Page restrictions prevent users who are not logged in Facebook or restricted from seeing the chat box.
Some business pages are restricted to some specific countries and age limit. Thus, users who are not logged in Facebook (Facebook cannot recognize) or restricted by the page restriction rules cannot see the chat box.
If people need to log in, in order to see your Facebook page, then your page settings have been set with restrictions, and it is not a public page. The good news is, you can fix this!
How to fix this: set your page to be visible to everyone and GET A NEW WIDGET CODE!
2. Your Facebook page does not allow customer chatting via Messenger.
The reason is that you have not chosen the option Message on your Facebook page yet. You can go to your Facebook Page Settings and follow this instruction:
